Ben Becker joined KLNB Retail in November 2006 after nearly two years with Madison Retail Group. Before joining Madison, Ben worked with IK Retail Enterprises, focusing on real estate matters for Italian retailers United Colors of Benetton, Sisley, Andrew’s Ties and Max Mara. As a broker, Ben represents both landlords and tenants. His tenant clients include California Tortilla, The Little Gym, Massage Envy, Gifford’s Ice Cream Candy Company, Foster’s Grille, and Firehouse Subs. His landlord clients include Adams Investment Group, Oekos Management and Bayanasa, Inc.
Education
Mr. Becker holds a M.B.A. from The Fisher College of Business at The Ohio State University with concentrations in Real Estate and Corporate Strategy, as well as a B.S. in Political Science from The University of Rochester.

Steve Combs joined KLNB Retail in November of 2006 after leaving his previous position as Managing Director with Newmark Knight Frank. As a specialist in retail real estate, he provides his clients with real estate related professional and technical support. Michael Pratt joined KLNB in May 2010 after being a Principal and founding member of Madison Retail Group in Washington, D.C. Mr. Pratt has over 20 years of experience in the commercial real estate industry. His client list includes top concepts such as, Ann Taylor, Ann Taylor Loft, Chico’s, White House/Black Market, Lucy, Pottery Barn, Williams Sonoma, and West Elm. Mr. Pratt has successfully mapped out market expansion strategies in the Washington and Baltimore markets for each of these retailers.
Through hard work, integrity and the development of trust, Mr. Pratt has represented these retailers for over a decade in urban street-fronts, lifestyle and traditional strip centers. For both landlord and tenant he has utilized his experience with the intricacies of governmental authorities such as Historic Preservation Review Board and Georgetown Business Improvement District to complete deals. Mr. Pratt has completed strategies for tenants and landlords in markets such as Georgetown, Downtown, Chevy Chase, Old Town Alexandria, Dupont Circle and other Washington submarkets with retailers that include J. Crew, Zara, Pottery Barn, BCBG, West Elm, Williams Sonoma, and Ann Taylor.
Mr. Pratt has also executed a strategy for the DC expansion of Washington Sports Clubs, completing over 200,000 square feet of transactions that involve unique infrastructure and lease requirements. Additionally, Mr. Pratt has successfully assembled properties on both the acquisition and leasing side for CVS/Pharmacy, and has completed multiple transactions in urban and suburban environments in the Washington market.

Jennifer Price joined KLNB Retail in May 2010 after three years at Madison Retail Group in Washington, DC. While at Madison, Ms. Price specialized in representing the owners of urban storefronts, mixed-use projects and development sites in the greater Washington, DC area. She has worked diligently to complete leasing transactions on behalf of clients such as Republic Properties, Waterford Development, and The Lenkin Companies. Jennifer also works with a variety of local and national Tenants such as The Perfect Pita, The Counter, Wiley Wagg and Sprinkles Cupcakes. Ms. Price works closely with her Tenants during all stages of the real estate process, from creating a roll-out strategy to working with appropriate government agencies for signage and licenses. In 2009 Ms. Price complete transactions on behalf of Sprinkles Cupcakes in Georgetown, The Perfect Pita in Foggy Bottom and Menchie's in Annapolis, MD. Phil joined KLNB in 1994 as a retail leasing specialist, focusing on sales and leasing throughout Maryland and Northern Virginia. Phil was formerly an appraiser for Arthur Andersen & Company’s Real Estate Advisory Service, where he performed valuation and consulting assignments throughout the United States. Now in KLNB’s Washington, D.C. offi ce, Phil has been involved in all aspects of retail real estate, including land sales, development, landlord representation and tenant representation.
